Merit Badge classes are offered at Cabrillo Beach Youth Water Camp in San Pedro. A calendar of classes and contact information can be found at http://www.cabrilloyouthcamp.org/
Registration for a class is done on their web site, but since places are limited, you must send in your registration fee by mail to secure your spot in the class. The fee is nominally $35, for 3-4 classes. The classes are held Saturday and Sunday. In order to complete the Merit Badge during the class period, the Scout will almost always have to do work outside of class and bring evidence of completion to the class. So Scouts, if you plan to work on a Merit Badge through Cabrillo, carefully study the requirements and plan your weekends and weeknights to get the work completed on time.
